INSYN
STOCKHOLM
01—15.02.1998

The project Insyn  was realized in conjunction with Stockholm European Cultural Capital 1998. More than seventy local and international artists, graphic designers, photographers, architects, filmmakers and choreographers displayed their installations in 58 shop-fronts around Stockholm.

Bigert & Bergström’s Deathwatch was one of them. Situated in the window of Kalsong Palace the work showed 92 soiled underwear with the names of all death-row convicts who received poison injection in Texas, as well as the description of their last meal. Deathwatch is related to the artist duo’s long-term project about the tradition of the last supper.
